YEAR 1924
Our history begins in 1924 when Mr. JOSE ARGENTE locates in a little room of his home the first factory that will later give rise to the present day company: PAPAS ARGENTE, S.A.
YEAR 1930
ARGENTE family carried with all containers they can travelling around the region by train seeking customers to establish business.
Theu use cylindrical metal-returnable-containers because there is not plastic bags yet.
YEAR 1940
After the Civil War ARGENTE family want to give new life to the company.
YEAR 1945
Sales are no longer made directly to families and begin to extend to other villages and provinces. They buy a new motorbike to realise deliveries which was the first used by ARGENTE.
YEAR 1955
The machinery is still rdimentary and facilities do no support the company expansion. Several fires happened before change the place of company.
YEAR 1975
Mr. Fernando Argente takes charge of this small family industry with his main proposal to liven up the company.
The facilities are enlarged and the company is placed on the outskirts of Alberic. New machinery is bought and it is got the First Spanish Automatic Packer.

The company's growth is excellent and their sales higher. They expand their facilities and build a new premise.
YEAR 1995
ARGENTE decides to diversity their range or products seeing the chance offered by the foreign market. So, they begin to make TOASTED BREAD with Typical Spanish Flavours, then it begins their internationalisation.
YEAR 2000
The company and its range of products has grown very much. Currently ARGENTE has more than 100 references. They create a new brand called: PRODUCTOS ALBERIC.
The third generation takes charge the company; General Manager is the grandson's founder. He works with his father and his brother in a company 80 years old.
